Limelight Digital helps good businesses grow through smart strategy, creative ideas, and strong digital execution.

We’re looking for a Digital Marketer who is curious, creative, and practical. Someone who enjoys the mix of strategy and creativity, cares about the details, and takes pride in work that performs.

Our agency works across paid and organic social, paid search, SEO, and web, combining creative thinking with performance marketing to deliver results that make a real difference for our clients.

Limelight brings together creative thinkers, data minded marketers, designers, and developers who each play their part in helping our clients grow online. Our focus on quality is what sets us apart, and it’s why our clients stay with us for years. Many of our clients are lead-gen focused, with a mix of professional services and eCommerce brands giving you variety in campaign types and business goals to work with.

If you enjoy mixing creativity with strategy and data, and want your ideas to count, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work with a mix of lead generation and eCommerce clients, acting as their trusted digital marketing partner across paid social, paid search, and SEO.

Day to day, that means:

Developing and managing social media strategies across Meta, TikTok (and occasionally LinkedIn), including content ideation, campaign management, and reporting.

Creating and managing Paid Search campaigns that drive measurable business growth

Supporting our designers and developers on website projects, ensuring they’re delivered with marketing performance and UX in mind

Creating ad copy that's engaging, on-brand, and written for the right audience

Guiding social content direction to ensure posts, ads, and assets support campaign objectives and brand tone

Developing and implementing SEO strategies that strengthen visibility and user experience, focusing on relevance, content quality, and on-site improvements.

Using Google Tag Manager and GA4 to track, measure, and interpret performance

Communicating results clearly with clients, turning data into insights and practical recommendations

Collaborating with team members on client strategies

Staying across emerging trends, AI tools, and platform changes

What we’re looking for

You might have a marketing degree or a few years of hands-on experience running campaigns. You’ve possibly worked in a digital agency or managed multiple clients before, but that’s not a deal-breaker. What matters most is that you understand how digital marketing drives business growth.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

Experience creating and managing paid social media campaigns, from strategy to optimisation

A good grasp of how audiences behave across platforms, and how to turn that into content that perform

Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns that deliver measurable results

An understanding of SEO built on relevance and quality, not shortcuts

Clear, confident writing skills for ads and social content

An eye for design, with enough confidence in Canva (or similar) to mock up or tweak ideas when needed (our designers handle the heavy lifting)

Confidence using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio

A clear grasp of how data links to commercial outcomes

Great communication and a genuine interest in building trusted client relationships

A collaborative attitude and genuine care for the work you produce

If you don’t tick every box, that’s fine - our senior marketers are on hand to support you and help you grow.

You’ll stand out if you have

Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or Google Merchant Center from a marketing perspective e.g. things like managing product feeds, refining listings, or tracking performance

An understanding of UX and conversion principles

Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp

The ability to create simple, effective video content (for ads, reels, or social posts) — or to guide clients on how to capture it well

You’ll fit right in if you

Enjoy learning and experimenting with new tools

Balance creativity with data-informed thinking

Take pride in producing work that is thoughtful, accurate, and genuinely high quality

Collaborate easily but can take initiative when needed

Care about doing great work and getting great results

Why you’ll love being part of Limelight

Your ideas are heard and acted on, not lost in endless approval layers

We back creative thinking and give you the space to try new ideas

Room to experiment, test, and bring creative thinking to life

A supportive team built on honesty, curiosity, and initiative

Work alongside an experienced, talented crew who know their craft

A bright, modern office in central New Plymouth with stunning ocean views and our Maunga watching over us

A gym membership to keep your mind and body sharp

Hybrid work options up to two days a week from home (after six months)

A mix of local and national clients across different industries

Birthday day off

Competitive salary and clear room to grow
